{"id":10597,"date":"2010-10-27T10:55:48","date_gmt":"2010-10-27T17:55:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=10597"},"modified":"2010-10-27T10:55:48","modified_gmt":"2010-10-27T17:55:48","slug":"pine-casting-rumor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2010\/10\/pine-casting-rumor\/","title":{"rendered":"Pine Casting Rumor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new rumor is floating about and it concerns a role for <em>Star Trek XI<\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Chris Pine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the rumor, Pine is one of the possibilities to be cast as the lead in <em>The Flash<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Pine052010.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-10598\" title=\"Pine052010\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Pine052010.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Pine is not the only actor who is rumored to be in contention for the lead role in <em>The Flash<\/em>. <strong>Bradley Cooper<\/strong> (<em>The Hangover, The A-Team<\/em>) is another name mentioned, although Cooper denies that he is in contention.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Flash <\/em>is several years away from release, although <strong>Marc Guggenheim<\/strong> is currently working on the script. According to Guggenheim, those involved with<em> The Flash<\/em> are &#8220;being true to the whole <strong>Barry Allen<\/strong> science police.
