{"id":10618,"date":"2010-10-29T13:20:30","date_gmt":"2010-10-29T20:20:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=10618"},"modified":"2010-10-29T13:21:30","modified_gmt":"2010-10-29T20:21:30","slug":"video-friday-drexler-and-stewart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2010\/10\/video-friday-drexler-and-stewart\/","title":{"rendered":"Video Friday &#8211; Drexler And Stewart"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two videos have been posted today which will be of interest to <em>Star Trek<\/em> fans; one by <strong>Doug Drexler<\/strong> and the other featuring <strong>Sir<\/strong> <strong>Patrick Stewart<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The nineteen-minute video posted by Drexler, which can be seen at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.startrek.com\/news_articles\">StarTrek.com<\/a>, has a lot of goodies for fans, with segments about the original series, <em>Star Trek: The Next Generation<\/em> and <em>Star Trek: Enterprise<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/DrexFiles102930.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-10619\" title=\"DrexFiles102930\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/DrexFiles102930.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"114\" \/><\/a>The Drex files opens with an interview of <strong>Mike Forest<\/strong>, who played Apollo in the second season original series episode <em>Who Mourns for Adonais<\/em>. Then <em>The Next Generation <\/em>fans can see the story of the &#8220;Thanksgiving battle for the four-footer,&#8221; where <strong>Greg Jein<\/strong> and several others try to move a four-foot long model of the USS Enterprise without damaging it.<\/p>\n<p><em>Star Trek: Enterprise<\/em> fans should tune in at the 13:27 mark in the video, where Drexler has made a short blooper reel of the crew filmed during the first season&#8217;s <em>Desert Crossing<\/em>. Following the blooper reel, go back in time to when the <em>Star Trek: Enterprise <\/em>pilot was being shot and see what it was really like &#8211; with all the bells and whistles included.<\/p>\n<p>But beware Romulan spies!<\/p>\n<p>The second video posted today features an hour-long interview with <strong>Sir Patrick Stewart,<\/strong> which can be seen <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wnyc.org\/thegreenespace\/events\/2010\/oct\/28\/patrick-stewart\/\">here<\/a>.
