{"id":10954,"date":"2010-12-16T15:37:55","date_gmt":"2010-12-16T23:37:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=10954"},"modified":"2010-12-16T15:37:55","modified_gmt":"2010-12-16T23:37:55","slug":"stewart-and-ryder-nominated-for-sag-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2010\/12\/stewart-and-ryder-nominated-for-sag-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Stewart And Ryder Nominated for SAG Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The list of nominees for the Seventeenth Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards has been announced, and amongst the nominees are <strong>Patrick Stewart<\/strong> and <strong>Winona Ryder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Stewart was nominated for one SAG award, and Ryder was nominated for two SAG awards.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/StewartMacbeth121610.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-10955\" title=\"StewartMacbeth121610\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/StewartMacbeth121610.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"116\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Stewart was nominated for &#8220;Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries&#8221; for his performance in <em>Macbeth<\/em>, where he took on the title role in a 20th-century version of the Shakespeare play.<\/p>\n<p>Others up for that award include: <strong>John Goodman<\/strong> and <strong>Al Pacino<\/strong> for <em>You Don&#8217;t Know Jack<\/em>, <strong>Dennis Quaid<\/strong> for <em>The Special Relationship<\/em> and <strong>\u00c9dgar Ram\u00edrez<\/strong> for <em>Carlos<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Ryder (Amanda in <em>Star Trek XI<\/em>) was nominated twice; once for &#8220;Outstanding <a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Ryder121610.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-10956\" title=\"Ryder121610\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Ryder121610.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"140\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture&#8221;
