The film will mark Kurtzman&#8217;s directorial debut.<\/p>\n<p>Wilde joins <em>Star Trek XI<\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Chris Pine<\/strong> and<strong> Elizabeth Banks<\/strong> in the film, scheduled to begin production later this month in L.A.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/Wilde010410.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-11072\" title=\"Wilde010410\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/Wilde010410.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"98\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><em>Welcome to People<\/em> is the story &#8220;of a struggling twenty-something man (Pine) who, after flying home to L.A. for the funeral of his estranged record-producer father, discovers that the will stipulates that he must deliver $150,000 in cash to a 30-year-old alcoholic sister (Banks) he never knew existed, and her troubled twelve-year-old son.
