{"id":12115,"date":"2011-05-26T12:48:26","date_gmt":"2011-05-26T19:48:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=12115"},"modified":"2011-05-26T12:48:26","modified_gmt":"2011-05-26T19:48:26","slug":"fedcon-xx-trek-actor-videos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2011\/05\/fedcon-xx-trek-actor-videos\/","title":{"rendered":"Fedcon XX Trek Actor Videos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For those who were unable to attend the latest FedCon, held in Germany, new videos featuring <em>Star Trek<\/em> actors have been posted online.<\/p>\n<p>The videos feature <em>Star Trek: Voyager<\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Robert Duncan McNeill<\/strong> and <strong>Garrett Wang<\/strong>, and <em>Star Trek: Enterprise<\/em>&#8216;s <strong>Scott Bakula<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The videos, in English, answer fan questions. The fan questions were in German at the beginning of each segment, but they are explained below so non-German speakers will know what was asked.<\/p>\n<p>McNeill was asked if he thought that our future would look like the future as portrayed in <em>Star Trek<\/em>. His answer provides a realistic view of our times.<\/p>\n<p>Wang was asked how he would use a holodeck, if one existed. Like probably 99% of humanity, Wang admits that it would be difficult to get him to leave the holodeck if it did exist. If he could use a holodeck, sports would be on the list of activities for Wang, but so would revisiting a few decisions he made in his life.<\/p>\n<p>Bakula was asked what had changed about doing science fiction series and films since the 1990s. He explained what he felt the biggest change was since those earlier times.<\/p>\n<p>The Wang and Bakula interviews are located at the referring site, on the right hand side of the page.
