{"id":12454,"date":"2011-07-12T13:36:38","date_gmt":"2011-07-12T20:36:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=12454"},"modified":"2011-07-12T13:36:38","modified_gmt":"2011-07-12T20:36:38","slug":"hemsworth-in-talks-for-rush","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2011\/07\/hemsworth-in-talks-for-rush\/","title":{"rendered":"Hemsworth In Talks For Rush"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Chris Hemsworth<\/strong> is in negotiations for the role of a race car driver in next year&#8217;s <em>Rush<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Hemsworth has time in-between his <em>Thor<\/em> projects (a sequel to <em>Thor<\/em>, which was released in May, is due out summer of 2013) to take on new projects, and if all goes well, he will be seen as a British Formula One driver in Rush.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Hemsworth150.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-12455\" title=\"Hemsworth150\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Hemsworth150.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"125\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><em>Rush <\/em>is a drama that will be the story of a rivalry between <strong>James Hunt<\/strong> and <strong>Niki Lauda<\/strong> for Formula One circuit dominance in the 1970s. Hemsworth would be playing Hunt.<\/p>\n<p>The British Hunt was a Formula One World Driver&#8217;s Champion once (1976), with ten Grand Prix wins between 1973 and 1979, beginning with the 1975 Dutch Grand Prix and ending with the 1977 Japanese Grand Prix.
