There will be seven conventions, shows or appearances in August and September that feature actors of interest to Star Trek<\/em> fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all five of the televised series and several of the Star Trek<\/em> movies.<\/p>\n

August begins with The Official Star Trek Convention Las Vegas<\/a>, which will be held from August 11-14 at the Rio Suites Hotel in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

Plenty of Trek actors will be in attendance at The Official Star Trek<\/em> Convention Las Vegas including: William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Sir Patrick Stewart, Brent Spiner, Kate Mulgrew, George Takei, John Cho, Grace Lee Whitney, James Darren, Nichelle Nichols, David Warner<\/strong> (Chancellor Gorkon), Terry Farrell, Walter Koenig, Eugene “Rod” Roddenberry, Jonathan Frakes, Dominic Keating, John de Lancie, Connor Trinneer, Gwynyth Walsh, Barbara March, J.G. Hertzler, Robert O’Reilly, Rene Auberjonois, Nana Visitor, Yvonne Craig<\/strong> (Marta from Whom Gods Destroy<\/em>), Michael Forest <\/strong>(Apollo in Who Mourns for Adonais<\/em>), Ethan Phillips, Max Grodenchik, Garrett Wang, Armin Shimerman, Jeffrey Combs, Vaughn Armstrong, Suzie Plakson<\/strong> (K’Ehleyr), Casey Biggs, Lee Meriwether<\/strong> (Losira in That Which Survives<\/em>), Eric Menyuk, Olivia d’Abo<\/strong> (the female Q Amanda Rogers), Robin Curtis, Denise Crosby, Charlie Brill <\/strong>(Arnie Darvin in The Trouble with Tribbles<\/em>), David Gerrold, Louise Sorel <\/strong>(Rayna in Requiem for Methuselah<\/em>), Beverly Washburn<\/strong> (Arlene Galway in The Deadly Years<\/em>), Chase Masterson, Arlene Martel, Nicole De Boer, Barry Jenner, Alexander Enberg <\/strong>and more.<\/p>\n

Also on August 11-14 the Wizard World Chicago Comic Con<\/a> will be held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. In attendance will be: Sir Patrick Stewart, LeVar Burton, Christopher Lloyd<\/strong>, and Daniel Stewart<\/strong> (The Inner Light<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Wrapping up August will be FanExpo Canada<\/a>, which will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from August 25-28. In attendance will be Nichelle Nichols, Marina Sirtis, Ethan Phillips<\/strong> and Malcolm McDowell<\/strong> (Dr. Tolian Soran).<\/p>\n

In September, there will be four conventions of note. From September 2-6, Dragon*Con<\/a> will be held in Atlanta, Georgia. In attendance at Dragon*Con will be: Leonard Nimoy, William Shatner, Garrett Wang, Christopher Lloyd, James Darren, Nicole de Boer, Gates McFadden, Robert Duncan McNeill, Kate Mulgrew, Brent Spiner, Wil Wheaton, Nana Visitor<\/strong> and Trek author A.C. Crispin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On September 24, the Rochester Sci-Fi & Anime Convention<\/a>, to be held at the Main Street Armory in Rochester, N.Y., will have J.G. Hertzler<\/strong> in attendance.<\/p>\n

Wizard World Los Angeles Comic Con<\/a> will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles on September 24-25 and in attendance will be Walter Koenig<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Wrapping up September will be The Official Star Trek Convention<\/a>, which will take place from September 30-October 2, and will be held at the Westin O’Hare Hotel in Chicago, Illinois.
