{"id":12635,"date":"2011-08-05T08:47:48","date_gmt":"2011-08-05T15:47:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=12635"},"modified":"2011-08-05T08:47:48","modified_gmt":"2011-08-05T15:47:48","slug":"stewart-ok-with-x-men-replacement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2011\/08\/stewart-ok-with-x-men-replacement\/","title":{"rendered":"Stewart OK With X-Men Replacement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new actor played the role of Professor Charles Francis Xavier in this summer&#8217;s<em> X-Men: First Class<\/em>, but <strong>Sir Patrick Stewart<\/strong> has no grudge against his replacement.<\/p>\n<p>Stewart hasn&#8217;t yet seen the movie, which released in June, but insists that is due to his busy life, not any bad feelings. &#8220;I haven&#8217;t seen it,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I haven&#8217;t been to the movies in over nine months.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/150Stewart.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-12636\" title=\"150Stewart\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/150Stewart.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"111\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>&#8220;Believe me, and no one will believe this, especially I think <strong>James <\/strong>[<strong>McAvoy<\/strong>], there\u2019s nothing personal about this,&#8221; Stewart said. &#8220;[I&#8217;m] unlike my dear friend <strong>Bill Shatner<\/strong>, who always made a point of saying he had never seen\u00a0<em><\/em><em>The Next Generation<\/em>.
