{"id":12842,"date":"2011-09-06T10:23:46","date_gmt":"2011-09-06T17:23:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=12842"},"modified":"2011-09-06T10:23:46","modified_gmt":"2011-09-06T17:23:46","slug":"star-trek-art-exhibition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2011\/09\/star-trek-art-exhibition\/","title":{"rendered":"Star Trek Art Exhibition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An art exhibition in honor of <em>Star Trek<\/em>&#8216;s 45th anniversary will be held in Manchester, England starting this week.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will be held in the Generation Pop art gallery in Manchester, beginning on September 9.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/SpockArt090611.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-12843\" title=\"SpockArt090611\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/SpockArt090611.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"128\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Artwork has been brought in from Los Angeles and New York, and features pieces from <strong>Ryan Church, Geoffrey Mandel, Dave Merrell<\/strong> and <strong>Brian Rood<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Church was the Concept Designer for <em>Star Trek XI<\/em>.
