{"id":12907,"date":"2011-09-19T14:43:30","date_gmt":"2011-09-19T21:43:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=12907"},"modified":"2011-09-19T14:43:30","modified_gmt":"2011-09-19T21:43:30","slug":"meaney-in-parked","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2011\/09\/meaney-in-parked\/","title":{"rendered":"Meaney In Parked"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Colm Meaney<\/strong>, best-known to<em> Star Trek<\/em> fans as Transporter Chief Miles O&#8217;Brien in <em>Star Trek: The Next Generation <\/em>and<em> Star Trek: Deep Space Nin<\/em>e was seen at the Helsinki International Film Festival in <em>Parked<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In <em>Parked<\/em>, Meaney portrays Fred Daly, a homeless Irish man who ends up living in his car after returning from England only to find that jobs are non-existent back home in Dublin.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/150ColmMeaney.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-12908\" title=\"150ColmMeaney\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/150ColmMeaney.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Meaney explained that Parked is &#8220;&#8230;basically three characters who, for different reasons, and at different stages of their lives, have come to a crossroads; they&#8217;re all a bit lost.
