{"id":13114,"date":"2011-10-17T11:53:41","date_gmt":"2011-10-17T18:53:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=13114"},"modified":"2011-10-17T11:53:41","modified_gmt":"2011-10-17T18:53:41","slug":"star-trek-legion-of-super-heroes-comic-to-debut","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2011\/10\/star-trek-legion-of-super-heroes-comic-to-debut\/","title":{"rendered":"Star Trek Legion of Super-Heroes Comic To Debut"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new comic series from IDW Publishing and DC Comics, <em>Star Trek Legion of Super-Heroes<\/em>, will debut this week.<\/p>\n<p>In <em>Star Trek Legion of Super-heroes<\/em>, the first of a six-issue release, Captain Kirk and his crew and the <em>Legion of Super-Heroes<\/em> will feature the two groups interacting in the 23rd century and the 31st century.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/STLOH1-101017.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-13115\" title=\"STLOH1-101017\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/STLOH1-101017.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"98\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>In the first issue of the new crossover series, &#8220;a group of Legionnaires&#8221; are &#8220;lost in the 23rd century. Kirk and crew are there, too, but it&#8217;s not the 23rd century as they know it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>Star Trek Legion of Super-Heroes<\/em> is written by <strong>Chris Roberson<\/strong>, with art by <strong>Jeffrey Moy<\/strong>, and covers by <strong>Phil Jimenez <\/strong>and<strong> Keith Giffen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Thirty-two pages in length, the issue, which will release this Wednesday, will cost $3.99.
