She is best-known to <em>24<\/em> fans for her role as Kayla Hassan on the series. Contractor has also appeared in <em>Rules of Engagement <\/em>and<em> The Border<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Clarke was signed to play a &#8220;family man with a wife and young daughter&#8221; last week.<\/p>\n<p>British actor Gatt has also been signed for <em>Star Trek 2<\/em>, but it is unknown which character he<a href=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/2012\/01\/two-more-for-trek-2\/gatt010912\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-14059\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-14059\" title=\"Gatt010912\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Gatt010912.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"120\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a> will be playing. Gatt appeared in 2011&#8217;s <em>Thor<\/em> as Frost Giant Grundroth.<\/p>\n<p>So far five newcomers have been signed for <em>Star Trek 2<\/em>; <strong>Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve, Peter Weller,<\/strong> Contractor and Gatt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Several newcomers have signed up for roles in Star Trek 2.
