Star Trek<\/em> fans will have three new Star Trek<\/em> comics to enjoy this July courtesy of IDW Publishing.<\/p>\n The titles include Star Trek Volume 2, Star Trek: The Next Generation\/Doctor Who: Assimilation 2 #3<\/em> and Star Trek #11<\/em> (The Truth about Tribbles, Part 1<\/em>).<\/p>\n Star Trek Volume 2<\/em>, written by Mike Johnson<\/strong> with art by Joe Corroney<\/strong> and a cover by Tim Bradstreet<\/strong>, is the re-imagining of the original series episode Operation Annihilate<\/em>.<\/p>\n Overseen by Star Trek XI<\/em>‘s Roberto Orci<\/strong>, Star Trek Volume 2<\/em> is 104 pages in length and will sell for $17.99.<\/p>\n Next up is Star Trek: The Next Generation\/Doctor Who: Assimilation 2 #3<\/em>, written by Scott <\/strong>and David Tipton<\/strong> with Tony Lee<\/strong>, with artwork by J.K. Woodward<\/strong> and covers by Woodward and Elena Casagrande<\/strong>. In this issue of the Trek\/Who crossover, “Captain Picard and Doctor Who attempting to agree upon the best course of action now that the true horror of the Borg-Cybermen alliance has been revealed. Also in question: will the Doctor\u2019s recently resurfaced memories shed fresh light on the situation?”<\/p>\n Thirty-two pages in length, Star Trek: The Next Generation\/Doctor Who: Assimilation 2 #3<\/em> will sell for $3.99. Look for a rare black-and-white variant cover.<\/p>\n The last IDW Publishing Star Trek<\/em> comic for July is Star Trek #11<\/em>.
