Star Trek<\/em> newcomer Alice Eve<\/strong> spoke recently about how long it takes to get ready for her filming day on Star Trek 2<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“I’m a healthy amount of time in the makeup chair, though not as long as Spock,” she said.<\/p>\n

Like everyone else involved with the production, Eve is careful about what she reveals about her work on the Abrams sequel. “We were filming until very late last night, and I know that’s all I can say,” she said. “It’s a top-secret operation; it’s like a war.”<\/p>\n

But “a few things” will surprise Star Trek<\/em> fans about her performance, said Eve. And she’s having a good time working on Star Trek 2<\/em>. “I’m having a lot of fun, and it’s a very special experience to be on J.J.’s movies,” she said. “He’s a real good leader.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
