The list of IDW Publishing Star Trek <\/em>comic titles for August 2012 has been released.<\/p>\n Three comics will hit newsstands this August; Star Trek 100-Page Spectacular Summer 2012, Star Trek TNG\/Doctor Who: Assimilation 2: #4<\/em>, and Star Trek #12<\/em>.<\/p>\n Star Trek 100-Page Spectacular Summer 2012<\/em> will feature two Star Trek<\/em> adventures: Embrace the Wolf<\/em> and False Colors<\/em>. In Embrace the Wolf<\/em>, “Captain Picard and his Enterprise crew find themselves in a particularly unusual setting, while in False Colors<\/em>, Captain Janeway leads the Voyager and her crew through a very close encounter with the Borg.”<\/p>\n Written by Nathan Archer, Christopher Golder <\/strong>and Tom Sniegosk<\/strong>i, with art by Dave Hoover <\/strong>and Jeff Moy<\/strong>, and cover by Travis Charest<\/strong>, Star Trek 100-Page Spectacular Summer 2012<\/em> will sell for $7.99.<\/p>\n Next up is Star Trek TNG\/Doctor Who: Assimilation 2: #4<\/em>, which continues the Star Trek\/Doctor Who<\/em> crossover. In this latest issue, “with the CyberBorg wreaking more havoc on the galaxy, the Federation must consider making an unholy alliance in order to prevail.”<\/p>\n Written by Scott <\/strong>and David Tipton<\/strong> and Tony Lee<\/strong>, with art by J.K. Woodward<\/strong> and covers by Woodward and Francesco Francavilla<\/strong>, Star Trek TNG\/Doctor Who: Assimilation 2: #4<\/em> is thirty-two pages in length and will sell for $3.99.<\/p>\n Finally, Star Trek #12<\/em> will conclude the re-imagined The Trouble with Tribbles<\/em>. Written by Mike Johnson<\/strong>, with art by Claudia Balboni<\/strong> and a cover by Tim Bradstreet<\/strong>, Star Trek #12<\/em> has been overseen by Star Trek 2<\/em>‘s Roberto Orci<\/strong>.
