The Science Channel<\/em> has acquired the off-network syndication rights to Fringe<\/em>, the science-fiction series created by J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman<\/strong> and Roberto Orci<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The agreement grants the network rights to the current four seasons plus the fifth season, which is due to air on FOX this fall.<\/p>\n

“Fringe<\/em> is the kind of smart, lean-forward programming that our viewers gravitate toward,” said Debbie Myers<\/strong>, General Manager and Executive Vice President of Science. “The combination of compelling characters and excellent science-themed storytelling make this franchise a huge addition for our network.<\/p>\n

“We’re going to deepen the audience experience with Fringe<\/em> by giving them more of the access to the writers and creative process than ever.
