Star Trek: The Next Generation<\/em>‘s LeVar Burton<\/strong>‘s car was rear-ended this weekend.<\/p>\n

It’s bad enough to get pulled over by a cop, but it’s worse when an accident is caused as a result of that minor traffic stop.<\/p>\n

Burton was stopped by the police in Van Nuys, California, for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.<\/p>\n

The actor dutifully pulled over, but then evidently stopped a bit too suddenly, causing the cop car behind him to hit his car, causing damage to one corner of Burton’s car.<\/p>\n

“I’m fine; everybody’s fine,” said Burton, who emerged from his vehicle wearing a Reading Rainbow<\/em> shirt. “Nobody died; nobody got hurt; it’s all good.”<\/p>\n
