William Shatner<\/strong>‘s latest film project, titled Get a Life<\/em>! is set to premiere next month at Comic-Con in San Diego, to be followed by a late July broadcast on the EPIX Channel.<\/p>\n Get a Life!<\/em> is the “exploration of strangers who have for years attended conventions…” and the film will reveal “a fun and touching side of the fanfare surrounding Star Trek<\/em>, and examine the thrill of what’s happening at these fantasy conventions and the enduring popularity of the film and TV series.”<\/p>\n Get a Life!<\/em> will debut July 14 at the San Diego Comic-con with Shatner and Roger Corman<\/strong> (Attack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader in 3D<\/em>) first taking part in a panel moderated by Kevin Smith<\/strong> to discuss their projects.<\/p>\n Following that panel, Shatner and Corman will introduce screenings to their new films. Get a Life!<\/em> will be shown at 7 PM at Reading Cinemas.<\/p>\n “We enjoy working with these two icons and are excited to bring them together with their fans at Comic-Con,” said EPIX CEO Mark Greenberg<\/strong>. “We look forward to premiering both of these EPIX Originals on TV, online, and on devices to reach all their fans nationwide.”<\/p>\n For those unable to attend the San Diego Comic-con, Get a Life!<\/em> will premiere on July 28 at 8 PM EST on the EPIX Channel.
