Star Trek 2<\/em>‘s Benedict Cumberbatch<\/strong> has landed a voice role on one of America’s favorite animated series.<\/p>\n

Cumberbatch will be heard in a cameo role on The Simpsons<\/em>.<\/p>\n

A meeting in the same place as where The Simpsons<\/em> is recorded led to Cumberbatch landing the role. “I heard there was a part going in an episode,” he said. “I said, ‘I hate to muscle in here guys but could I record it?’ Next thing, I’m standing in a room with all those famous voices; Bart, Marge, Homer, Lisa.”<\/p>\n
