Last month, TrekToday reported<\/a> that Simon Pegg<\/strong> might be guest-starring in the TNT L.A. Noir<\/em> pilot, and set photos which have recently emerged seem to confirm that report.<\/p>\n L.A. Noir<\/em>, is a period drama about a cop working in \u201can era of rampant police corruption,\u201d and would center on the 1940s-1950s “epic battle” between Los Angeles Police Chief William Parker (Neil McDonough<\/strong>) and boxer-turned-mobster Mickey Cohen.<\/p>\n Already involved in L.A. Noir<\/em> are Jon Bernthal<\/strong> (Walking Dead<\/em>) as LAPD cop Joe Teague, McDonough as LAPD Chief Parker and Milo Ventimiglia<\/strong> (Heroes<\/em>) as a “budding lawyer for the mob. L.A.
