Nichelle Nichols<\/strong> will be one of them women featured in a new documentary, MAKERS: Women Who Make America<\/em>.<\/p>\n The three-hour documentary focuses on exceptional women whose pioneering contributions helped to shape today’s world.<\/p>\n “Built on the extraordinary archive of stories already completed for MAKERS.com<\/em>, the film”, which will air on PBS in early 2013, “will feature the stories of those who led the fight, those who opposed it, and the unintentional trailblazers — famous and unknown \u2013 who carried change to every corner of society.<\/p>\n “Taking its cue from the motto of the movement \u2013 ‘the personal is political’ \u2013 MAKERS<\/em> will delve deeply into the personal lives of its subjects. The film will not be a top-down narrative of events over people.
