Star Trek: The Next Generation<\/em>‘s LeVar Burton<\/strong> visitied the White House Briefing Room yesterday.<\/p>\n

The actor was there to interview Press Secretary Jay Carney<\/strong> for a segment to be used on a Reading Rainbow<\/em> app.<\/p>\n

The interview will be part of a “video field trip” that will be available courtesy of the Reading Rainbow<\/em> iPad app, which was released last month.<\/p>\n

Carney was asked why he loves being the press secretary. “I love my job because I have the incredible honor to speak for the President,” said Carney. “It’s a great honor and a great job.”<\/p>\n
