{"id":19802,"date":"2012-09-05T12:05:55","date_gmt":"2012-09-05T19:05:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=19802"},"modified":"2012-09-05T12:05:55","modified_gmt":"2012-09-05T19:05:55","slug":"shatner-sued-by-ex-employees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2012\/09\/shatner-sued-by-ex-employees\/","title":{"rendered":"Shatner Sued By Ex-employees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-19805\" title=\"ShatnerModernKirk021612\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/ShatnerModernKirk021612.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"580\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><\/em><strong>William Shatner<\/strong> has been sued by two of his former long-term employees.<\/p>\n<p>The employees, <strong>Oscar<\/strong> and <strong>Delmy Alfaro<\/strong>, had been employed by Shatner for twenty-years, Oscar as a handyman and Delmy as a housekeeper.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The suit was filed yesterday and in it, the Alfaros claimed that Shatner and his wife Elizabeth &#8220;harassed and berated them&#8221; to the point that they had to quit their jobs after Oscar refused to sign a document to release Shatner from financial responsibility after Oscar was injured while working at Shatner&#8217;s Studio City home.<\/p>\n<p>The Alfaros claimed to suffer humiliation, embarrassment, mental anguish and loss of earnings as a result of the behaviors of the Shatners, and are suing for unspecified damages.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>William Shatner has been sued by two of his former long-term employees.
