ABC’s Castle<\/em> will feature a Comic-Con type episode this fall, guest-starring\u00a0Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s <\/em>Armin Shimerman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The episode will be directed by Star Trek: The Next Generation<\/em>‘s Jonathan Frakes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the episode, Shimerman will appear as Benjamin Donnely, a “tech geek who manufactures authentic props for costumers at sci-fi conventions.” The tech geek is a “little too eager to show Beckett (Stana Katic<\/strong>) how all his guns work.”<\/p>\n

Firefly<\/em>‘s Nathan Fillion<\/strong>, who appears as Richard Castle in the series joins Beckett at the convention to investigate the murder of a fan. They meet up with former sci-fi star Gabriel Winters (Ed Quinn<\/strong>), who spends days at conventions and nights “having drunken one-night stands” after his “cult-favorite” show Nebula 9 was cancelled.<\/p>\n

The Comic-Con episode will air later this fall. Castle<\/em>, currently in its fifth season, can be seen on ABC Monday nights at 10 PM.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
