Last week, Trektoday announced<\/a> that Star Trek: Deep Space Nine<\/em>‘s Chase Masterson<\/strong> would voice the character of Vienna Salvatori on the Doctor Who: The Shadow Heart<\/em> series which will be released next month.<\/p>\n Now it has been announced that Masterson will voice her own audio series, Vienna<\/em>, continuing the adventures of the “impossibly glamorous bounty hunter Vienna Salvatori.”<\/p>\n Vienna<\/em> will debut in February 2013 with a pilot episode titled The Memory Box<\/em>. In The Memory Box<\/em>, “Vienna is on the run from the law, standing accused of murdering a rich industrialist \u2013 a crime she may or may not have committed. But is anything quite what it seems?”<\/p>\n “In Vienna<\/em>, Jonathan Morris<\/strong> has created a character who is smart, sexy and a great deal of fun,” said Co-producer David Richardson<\/strong>. “And Chase just exudes charisma and star quality. When the two came together during the recording of The Shadow Heart<\/em>, it soon became clear that we had something wonderful.”<\/p>\n “The Memory Box<\/em> is a great romp – as with The Shadow Heart<\/em>, writer Jonathan Morris takes us on a ride packed with twists and turns and farce – it’s big fun,” said Masterson.<\/p>\n “And Vienna is one of my favorite characters ever: the endearingly incorrigible killer we loved to hate in The Shadow Heart<\/em> – completely unapologetic, even charming about her day job as a mercenary assassin,” added Masterson. “Plus, she usually manages to land on the side of justice. Vienna’s quite a turn-on – I think you’ll like her as much as I do.”<\/p>\n The Memory Box<\/em> will be co-produced by Mark Wright<\/strong>, and directed by Ken Bentley<\/strong>, with Sound design and music by Jamie Robertson<\/strong>.
