More details have emerged about the Blu-ray release of Season 2 of Star Trek: The Next Generation<\/em>, formerly reported here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Blu-ray TNG<\/em> set will be released on December 4, and includes the highly-anticipated extended cut of The Measure of a Man<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The HD extended cut of The Measure of a Man<\/em> includes deleted scenes and different angles from the broadcast version of the episode. “The original version of the episode is included, as well as a ‘Hybrid Extended Cut,’ combining the high-definition on-air version of The Measure of a Man<\/em> with video of the extra material taken from an early VHS rough-cut of the episode that was in the writer’s (Melinda Snodgrass<\/strong>) archives.”<\/p>\n

A twenty-fifth anniversary reunion of the TNG<\/em> cast is also featured as an extra. The main cast members are featured in a roundtable discussion about the legacy of the series.<\/p>\n
