La-La Land Records will mark its tenth anniversary with a celebration to be held at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood featuring the new Star Trek Original Series Soundtrack Collection<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The celebration will include the screening of two classic Star Trek<\/em> episodes following by a special discussion featuring Trek composers and writers.<\/p>\n

The Star Trek: The Original Series Soundtrack Celebration<\/em> will take place on December 3, 2012 at 7:30 PM, and admission to the event is free.<\/p>\n

The night will begin with the screening of Mirror, Mirror<\/em> and Amok Time<\/em>. After the screening, a special discussion will include original series composer Gerald Fried<\/strong> and writer David Gerrold<\/strong>, and will be hosted by Trek music writer and original series soundtrack set co-producer Jeff Bond<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Those in attendance will receive a free small popcorn and soda. There will also be a T-shirt giveaway and, according to the press release, “more!”<\/p>\n

Fans wishing to purchase The Star Trek Original Series Soundtrack Collection<\/em> a day ahead of its December 4 release will be able to do so at the event. The price for the set is $225.00, which includes tax.<\/p>\n
