IDW Publishing<\/em> has announced three Star Trek<\/em> comics for next March.<\/p>\n The comics include Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness #3, Star Trek #19<\/em>, and Star Trek Volume 4<\/em>.<\/p>\n In Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness #3<\/em>, “Captain Kirk and his crew will face an all-new adversary that threatens the future of the entire Federation.”<\/p>\n Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness #3<\/em> is part of the official prequel mini-series overseen by Roberto Orci<\/strong>. Written by Mike Johnson<\/strong>, with art and covers by David Messina<\/strong>; the thirty-two page issue will sell for $3.99.<\/p>\n In Star Trek #19<\/em> “events that shaped the lives of the Enterprise crew,” are shown, such as “what led young Montgomery Scott to devote himself to engineering.”<\/p>\n Also overseen by Orci, Star Trek #19<\/em> was written by Mike Johnson<\/strong>, with art by Claudia Balboni<\/strong> and covers by Tim Bradstreet<\/strong>. The thirty-two page issue will sell for $3.99.<\/p>\n Star Trek Volume 4<\/em> continues the countdown to Star Trek into Darkness<\/em>.
