In April, five different IDW Publishing Star Trek<\/em> comics will be released.<\/p>\n The titles will include Star Trek #20, Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness #4, Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness – Spotlight, Star Trek: John Byrne Collection<\/em>, and Star Trek Space-Spanning Treasury Edition<\/em>.<\/p>\n Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness #4<\/em>, written by Mike Johnson<\/strong> with art and cover by David Messina<\/strong>, concludes the prequel which leads up to Star Trek into Darkness<\/em>. In Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness #4<\/em>, “Kirk, Spock and the rest of the Enterprise crew fight for the fate of the galaxy.”<\/p>\n Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness #4<\/em> is thirty-two pages in length and will sell for $3.99.<\/p>\n Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness – Spotlight<\/em> collects all four of the Countdown to Darkness<\/em> issues in one one-hundred-and-four page issue. Written by Roberto Orci<\/strong> and Mike Johnson<\/strong> with art by David Messina<\/strong>, Star Trek: Countdown to Darkness – Spotlight<\/em> will cost $17.99.<\/p>\n Star Trek #20<\/em> features new stories that focus on Sulu and Chekov. “Witness their first meeting at Starfleet Academy and learn how their paths intertwined all the way to the bridge of the Enterprise.”<\/p>\n Written by Mike Johnson<\/strong> and overseen by Roberto Orci<\/strong>, Star Trek #20<\/em> features art by Claudia Balboni<\/strong> and covers by Tim Bradstreet<\/strong>. The thirty-two page issue will sell for $3.99.<\/p>\n The Star Trek: John Byrne Collection<\/em> features four Star Trek<\/em> titles in one oversized hardcover collection. Included are: Assignment Earth<\/em> (the adventures of Gary Seven), Crew<\/em> (a tale from the very beginnings of the United Federation of Planets), Leonard McCoy: Frontier Doctor<\/em> (Dr. McCoy and the Frontier Medics Program) and Romulans: Pawns of War<\/em>.<\/p>\n Three-hundred-and-twenty pages in length, Star Trek: John Byrne Collection<\/em> features writing and art by John Byrne<\/strong>. The issue will sell for $49.99.<\/p>\n The last April IDW Publishing Star Trek<\/em> release is the Star Trek Space-Spanning Treasury Edition<\/em>, which features two complete stories from three issues; The Return of the Archons<\/em>, and The Redshirts Story<\/em>.<\/p>\n Seventy-two pages in length, Star Trek Space-Spanning Treasury Edition<\/em> features stories from Mike Johnson<\/strong>, with art by Stephen Molnar<\/strong> and a cover by Tim Bradstreet<\/strong>.
