A new Texas scratch off lottery game features Star Trek<\/em>.<\/p>\n To celebrate the launch of the new scratch off Star Trek<\/em> game, the Texas Lottery Headquarters will hold an event featuring prizes and a chance to break a Guinness Book of World record for Trek fans in costume. William Shatner<\/strong> will be in attendance.<\/p>\n “We bring word from our allies in the Dallas region of Earth that your presence is requested at a meeting of like-minded individuals,” said a Facebook posting for the event. “We request that you appear in the uniform or traditional dress of your people and bring as many diplomats as possible. With your help, we will convince envoys representing the Guinness Book of World Records<\/em> of the strength of our numbers.”<\/p>\n The attempt to break the Guinness World Record will take place on March 30, at 10:00 AM at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas.<\/p>\n The event seeks to attract more than 1,040 uniformed attendees to break the Guinness World Book<\/em> record.<\/p>\n In addition to the Guinness World Book<\/em> record attempt, attendees will have a chance to win Trek scratch off tickets, Texas Lottery merchandise, $50,000, and a Star Trek<\/em> Convention Trip Package which includes airfare from one of four Texas cities to Las Vegas, five nights first-class hotel accommodations, round-trip car service between airport and hotel, dinner for two ($500 value), ticket for two to the Star Trek<\/em> convention, and $1000 spending money.<\/p>\n Admittance to the March 30th event is free for those in costume.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" A new Texas scratch off lottery game features Star Trek.
