Chris Pine<\/strong> gave his opinion recently regarding the news that J.J. Abrams<\/strong> will be directing the next Star Wars<\/em> movie.<\/p>\n

As expected, the actor was happy for Abrams, but he had a warning for Abrams. “From my standpoint, J.J. is a science-fiction genius,” said Pine. “To have him over in the Star Wars<\/em> camp is going to be a great thing. I\u2019m sure it’s going to be a great film.”<\/p>\n

But Pine was not so happy about the possibility of Abrams not directing the third Star Trek<\/em> film. “The only way I’ll be disappointed is if he doesn’t direct our third movie,\u201d said Pine. “I think if that turns out to be the case we’ll have to kidnap him and hold him hostage until he agrees to do a third.”<\/p>\n

As to the rumor that Pine as Kirk might appear in the next Star Wars<\/em> movie? “Now you’re really playing with fire,” said Pine. “I wouldn’t even say that lightly.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
