{"id":24743,"date":"2013-04-19T11:50:10","date_gmt":"2013-04-19T18:50:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/?p=24743"},"modified":"2013-04-19T11:50:10","modified_gmt":"2013-04-19T18:50:10","slug":"making-star-trek-the-video-game","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trektoday.com\/content\/2013\/04\/making-star-trek-the-video-game\/","title":{"rendered":"Making Star Trek: The Video Game"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24746\" title=\"STTVGame041913\" src=\"http:\/\/www.trektoday.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/STTVGame041913.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"580\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A new video was released today by Paramount for <em>Star Trek: The Video Game<\/em> and players can see what is store for them when the game becomes available later this month.<\/p>\n<p>Written by <strong>Marianne Krawczyk<\/strong>, <em>Star Trek: The Video Game<\/em> &#8220;whisks players into the heart of a canon adventure that takes place in the time between 2009&#8217;s blockbuster film <em>Star Trek<\/em> and the upcoming <em>Star Trek: Into Darkness.<\/em>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The two-and-a-half minute video, seen below, is narrated by S<em>tar Trek: The Video Game<\/em> Executive Producer <strong>Brian Miller<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Showing scenes taken from the game, Miller explains that the intent was to create a fresh new story and &#8220;take players on an adventure they hadn&#8217;t seen before.&#8221; Miller explains the story and shows some of the new characters that make their debut in the game.<\/p>\n<p><em>Star Trek: The Video Game<\/em> goes on sale Tuesday, April 23 for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC..
