Esurance, a direct-to-consumer personal car insurance company is giving away thirty-thousand pairs of tickets for Star Trek into Darkness<\/em>.<\/p>\n The ticket giveaway will continue from now through May 19.<\/p>\n Five hundred pairs of tickets will be given away daily during the promotional period, through Esurance’s FB site, located here<\/a>. Those wishing to enter the daily contest must first “like” the page, and then enter the relevant details to see if they’ve one of the five hundred pairs.<\/p>\n “Winners of the movie tickets will receive an instant notification with a special code to redeem their pair of tickets, which are good for one regular or 3-D viewing of Star Trek Into Darkness<\/em>. Those who don’t instantly win are encouraged to enter every day for their chance at two movie tickets.<\/p>\n “We are thrilled to offer movie fans a chance to see Star Trek Into Darkness<\/em> with this massive free ticket program, and the unique, behind-the-scenes Star Trek<\/em> content we have on our Facebook<\/em> page is something that fans will really enjoy,” said Esurance Vice President of Marketing Darren Howard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “Esurance is supporting the movie ticket giveaway with a national ad campaign that includes a television spot produced by Kelvin Optical, the commercial unit of film director J.J. Abrams<\/strong>‘ Bad Robot Productions. The comedic spot features an original Star Trek<\/em> alien character created by the film’s design team especially for Esurance. Promoting the film tie-in and ticket giveaway, the commercial will run prior to the movie release in national TV placements and in cinema outlets.<\/p>\n “We developed a very close collaboration with Esurance and our filmmaking team on this program”, said LeeAnne Stables<\/strong>, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Partnerships for Paramount. “The incredibly creative campaign is sure to build even more excitement around the release of Star Trek Into Darkness.<\/em>”<\/p>\n “In addition to the standard thirty-second TV commercial, the campaign includes a special, long format commercial hosted on the Esurance Facebook page.
