Four dramas were ordered by Fox for this fall season, and two of the shows come courtesy of J.J. Abrams<\/strong>, and Alex Kurtzman <\/strong>and Roberto Orci<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The two shows ordered by Fox are: Almost Human <\/em>and Sleepy Hollow<\/em>.<\/p>\n

J.J. Abrams<\/strong>‘ Almost Human<\/em> is “an action-packed police drama set thirty-five years in the future, when police officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. An unlikely connection is forged when a cop with an aversion to robots and a robot with unexpected emotional responses investigate cases in a brave new world.”<\/p>\n

Karl Urban<\/strong> will be starring in Almost Human<\/em> along with Michael Ealy <\/strong>and Lili Taylor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The other show, Sleepy Hollow<\/em>, comes from Alex Kurtzman <\/strong>and Roberto Orci<\/strong>. In Sleepy Hollow<\/em>, “a modern-day retelling of Washington Irving<\/strong>‘s classic. Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison<\/strong>) is resurrected and pulled two-and-a-half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and that he is humanity’s last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie<\/strong>) to unravel a mystery that dates all the way back to the Founding Fathers.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
