Several Star Trek<\/em> actors are lending their support to a new Kickstarter project from David Gerrold, Dorothy Fontana <\/strong>and David C. Fine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The project is a new sci-fi adventure series called The Star Wolf<\/em>.<\/p>\n “We’re finally going to make the show I’ve been dreaming about for years,” said Gerrold, “a show that is compelling, thought-provoking and bold enough to take on the real emotional issues of war.”<\/p>\n “It has come to my attention that an interesting web series is in development,” said Leonard Nimoy<\/strong>.” It is called The Star Wolf<\/em>. The folks behind this project are people I’ve known for over forty years. David Gerrold and Dorothy Fontana gave us some of the best writing we ever had on the original Star Trek<\/em> series. I, for one, will be eagerly looking forward to see what their creativity will offer us on The Star Wolf<\/em>“.<\/p>\n The Star Wolf<\/em> “centers on a crew of regular people caught up in an interplanetary war between the human race and the animalistic Morthans.”<\/p>\n Nichelle Nichols<\/strong>, the original Lt. Uhura, is slated to take on the recurring role of Admiral O’Hara in The Star Wolf<\/em>.<\/p>\n Star Trek: Deep Space Nine<\/em>‘s Chase Masterson<\/strong> is also endorsing the project.<\/p>\n The project needs $650,000 to be funded, and thus far, $52,782 has been raised, with nine days to go.
