Robert Picardo <\/strong>and Lee Wilkof<\/strong> will be appearing in a summer production of Neil Simon<\/strong>‘s The Sunshine Boys<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In The Sunshine Boys<\/em>, “an old Vaudeville team, Lewis (Wilkof) and Clark (Picardo), [is] talked into reuniting for a TV special about the history of comedy. The only problem is the two old men hate each other and haven’t spoken in years! With echoes of The Odd Couple<\/em> and Simon’s early career as a gag writer for TV, this comedy gets to the heart of what’s funny about real life.”<\/p>\n

“Much of the humor is derived from efforts to get the two cantankerous actors into the same room for a rehearsal, their differences of opinion once they reunite, and their shenanigans on the actual broadcast.”<\/p>\n

The Sunshine Boys<\/em> will run from July 9 through July 21 at the Totem Pole Playhouse in Fayetteville, Pennsylvania (between Chambersburg and Gettysburg). Tickets range from $19.95 to $49.50 and can be ordered here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
