Featured are the shuttle ride to Starfleet Academy with Kirk and McCoy, Scotty&#8217;s discovery as a child that he loves engineering, Uhura and Spock meeting for the first time, and the beginning of the Chekov\/Sulu friendship.<\/p>\n<p>Written by <strong>Mike Johnson <\/strong>and<strong> Ryan Parrott<\/strong>, with art by<strong> Claudia Balboni<\/strong>, and cover by <strong>Tim Bradstreet<\/strong>, <em>Star Trek: Volume 5<\/em> was overseen by <strong>Roberto Orci<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Star Trek: Volume 5<\/em> goes on sale, July 4, and will cost $17.99.<\/p>\n<p>Click on thumbnails for larger-sized preview pages.
