There will be sixteen conventions, shows or appearances in August and September that will feature actor of interest to Star Trek<\/em> fans. This listing of conventions and shows features actors from all of the televised series and several of the Star Trek<\/em> movies.<\/p>\n August begins with Shore Leave 35<\/a>, which will take place August 2-4 at the Hunt Valley Inn in Hunt Valley, MD. In attendance at Shore Leave 35<\/em> will be: Julie Caitlin Brown, Saul Rubinek, William Shatner, Brent Spiner<\/strong>, Star Trek: Continues’<\/em> Vic Mignogna<\/strong>, and over two dozen Trek authors.<\/p>\n On the same weekend, the Space City Con<\/a> will take place on August 2-4 at the Houston Marriott Westchase in Houston, Texas. In attendance at Space City Con<\/em> will be: Denise Crosby, John de Lancie, J.G. Hertzler, Manu Intiraymi, Walter Koenig, Robert O’Reilly, Robert Picardo<\/strong>, and Tim Russ<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Wizard World Chicago Comic-Con<\/a> will take place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois on August 8-11. In attendance at Wizard World Chicago Comic-Con<\/em> will be: Zachary Quinto <\/strong>and Wil Wheaton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Also on August 8-11, the 12th Annual Official Star Trek Convention<\/a> will take place at the Rio Suites Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. In attendance at Gen Con<\/em> will be Walter Koenig<\/strong>.<\/p>\n On August 18, the Los Angeles Comic Book and Science Fiction Convention<\/a> will be held at the Shrine Auditorium Expo Center in Los Angeles, California. The following Trek actors will be at this convention: Yvonne Craig, Gary Lockwood, Sally Kellerman, Antoinette Bower<\/strong> (Sylvia from original series’ Catspaw<\/em>), Joanne Linville<\/strong>, and Jack Donner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Next up will be Fan Expo Canada<\/a> will take place August 22-25 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, Canada. In attendance at Fan Expo Canada will be: Nichelle Nichols, George Takei, Zachary Quinto<\/strong>, and Karl Urban<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Creation Entertainment’s Official Star Trek Convention 2013<\/a> will be held at the Hilton Seattle Airport in Seattle, Washington on August 24 and 25. In attendance will be: LeVar Burton, Denise Crosby, Aron Eisenberg, Max Grodenchik, J.G. Hertzler, Dominic Keating, Kate Mulgrew, Robert O’Reilly, Suzie Plakson, William Shatner, Marina Sirtis, Connor Trinneer, Nana Visitor<\/strong>, and Garrett Wang<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Wrapping up August will be Dragon*Con<\/a> will take place in downtown Atlanta, Georgia from August 30-September 2. In attendance at Dragon*Con<\/em> will be: Avery Brooks, Noel Clarke, Peter and Kathleen O’Shea David, Keith R.A. DeCandido, John de Lancie, Michael Dorn, Terry Farrell, Dominic Keating, Cirroc Lofton, Marina Sirtis, William Shatner, George Takei, Garrett Wang<\/strong>, and David Warner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n September begins with the Salt Lake Comic Con<\/a>, to be held September 5-7 at the South Town Expo Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. In attendance at the Salt Lake Comic Con<\/em> will be William Shatner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Official Star Trek Convention<\/a> will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, from September 7-8. Denise Crosby, Aron Eisenberg, Terry Farrell, Max Grodenchik, Dominic Keating, Walter Koenig, Kate Mulgrew, Robert Picardo, Suzie Plakson, Armin Shimerman, Nana Visitor<\/strong>, and Garrett Wang<\/strong> will be in attendance at The Official Star Trek Convention in Nashville<\/em>.<\/p>\n On September 13-15, the Montreal ComicCon<\/a> will take place at the Palais des Congres in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In attendance will be George Takei<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Next up is the Ohio Comic Con<\/a>, which will take place September 20-22 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio. In attendance at the Ohio Comic Con<\/em> will be William Shatner.<\/p>\n The Rose City Comic Con<\/a> will take place September 21-22 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. Avery Brooks <\/strong>and Lee Arenberg<\/strong> will be appearing at the Rose City Comic Con<\/em>.<\/p>\n Trek-Gate to Your Star<\/a> will take place the same weekend at the Hilton Hotel in Dusseldorf, Germany.
