According to the rumor mill, Star Trek into Darknes<\/em>s’ Benedict Cumberbatch<\/strong> might be seen in Star Wars Episode VII<\/em>.<\/p>\n

If this rumor is true, then Cumberbatch would be reuniting with Star Trek into Darkness’ J.J. Abrams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Cumberbatch was a fan of Star Wars<\/em> as a child, and getting a role in the movie would fulfill a childhood dream. “”I was much more connected to [Star War<\/em>s] as a kid, in the way that a lot of kids are because it’s immediate storytelling, very simple – a beautifully, outrageously simple narrative in a way – and a wonderful three-act melodrama, opera,” he said.<\/p>\n

“And I loved them,” said Cumberbatch. “I really, really loved those films and I always wanted to be Han Solo. Everything Harrison Ford<\/strong> did I just thought was the coolest thing ever – Raiders of the Lost Ark<\/em> was very much my upbringing as well.”<\/p>\n
