The original series’ William Shatner<\/strong> is full of praise for Star Trek into Darkness<\/em>‘ J.J. Abrams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In a radio interview, Shatner complimented Abrams’ movie-making abilities and expressed confidence in Abrams’ other sci-fi project, Star Wars Episode 7<\/em>.<\/p>\n “J.J. is a terrific director, and he gives you a great ride,” said Shatner. “He knows how to make the movie large with the special effects and everything. And that\u2019s going to be wonderful.”<\/p>\n “It’s going to be wonderful for both franchises. He certainly has enlivened Star Trek<\/em>. I’m looking forward to seeing what he’s going to do because he’s going to do something different, that’s for sure.”<\/p>\n “There are very few people who can make those kinds of movies, to have the sensibility. He’s got a lot of wonderful people around him.
