Fans of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine<\/em> will enjoy the latest offering from the Official Starships Collection<\/em>, a model of the Deep Space Nine<\/em> station.<\/p>\n

The Deep Space Nine<\/em> model is the first of the oversized special issues from the collection.<\/p>\n

Measuring just under 6″ across (150mm) and standing nearly 2.75″ tall (94mm), the station model is made of diecast metal.<\/p>\n

As usual, a magazine will accompany the model release, and feature articles on the design and history of the model, as well as other articles including filming the Deep Space Nine<\/em> model for television.<\/p>\n

UK subscribers will receive this model later this month, while US residents will have to wait until early January.<\/p>\n
