Anthony Montgomery<\/strong> fans waiting for the release of his latest film, Chariot,<\/em> can purchase a DVD of the movie beginning tomorrow.<\/p>\n In Chariot<\/em>, “seven strangers wake aboard a passenger jet in mid-flight and find themselves unwitting participants in a government evacuation program. As a seemingly devastating attack unfolds on the U.S. homeland, the passengers learn they have been chosen to be saved because of their unique skills and\/or political connections. But from the beginning, the plan appears to be ill-conceived and for those aboard things quickly go from bad to worse.”<\/p>\n Produced by Montgomery, Eric Vale<\/strong>, and Brad Osborne<\/strong>; and directed by Osborne, the film is a “a commentary on the power and reach of the government,” said Osborne. “But I never could have predicted the subject would be so top-of-mind in the public consciousness at the very moment of Chariot’<\/em>s release.”<\/p>\n “I just set out to write a thriller,” said Vale, who wrote the script for Chariot<\/em>. “But what was initially a fairly far-fetched plot now seems eerily believable.”<\/p>\n Chariot<\/em> will be released tomorrow and will be available exclusively at Walmart, with a VOD and Redbox release scheduled by the end of the year.<\/p>\n
