John de Lancie<\/strong>, best known to Trek fans as the mischievous Q, will be narrating several holiday concerts this weekend.<\/p>\n De Lancie will be performing The Christmas Story According to St. Luke<\/em> by Robert Wagner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Both holiday concerts will be held in Riverside California by La Sierra University. The first concert is the Candlelight Concert<\/em>, to be held Friday, December 6 at 7:30 at the La Sierra University Church in Riverside. Admission is free.<\/p>\n In the Candlelight Concert<\/em>, classical and spiritual works will be featured, and will include choral performances, sing-along carols, spirituals, scriptural readings, orchestral works, and a sing-along of Hallelujah Chorus<\/em> by George Frideric Handel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The next night, the Sounds of the Season<\/em> holiday concert will be held at the Riverside Fox Performing Arts Center at 8 PM. Tickets for this performance range from $15-$45 (not counting Ticketmaster’s usual processing fees).<\/p>\n The Sounds of the Season<\/em> concert will include “the La Sierra University Big Band performing Winter Wonderland<\/em>, a gospel rendition of We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Christmas Time is Here<\/em> from A Charlie Brown Christmas<\/em>, and other tunes of the season.
