Star Trek<\/em>‘s George Takei<\/strong> will be hosting the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra<\/em>‘s Sci-Fi Spectacular<\/em> next month.<\/p>\n

In the Sci-Fi Spectacular<\/em>, listeners are encouraged to “beam [themselves] up and explore strange, new worlds with … host George Takei.”<\/p>\n

The show will feature “selections from Star Trek<\/em> and the best of John Williams<\/strong>: E.T., Somewhere in Time, Star Wars<\/em> and more.” The Sci-Fi Spectacular<\/em> promises “an out-of-this-world musical adventure.”<\/p>\n

The Sci-Fi Spectacular<\/em> will take place at the Music Center at Strathmore on Thursday, February 20 at 8 PM. Three shows will take place at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall; Friday February 21 and Saturday February 22 at 8 PM, and Sunday February 23 at 3 PM.<\/p>\n

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra<\/em> is led by Conductor Jack Everly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
