The next-to-last set of Juan Ortiz<\/strong> posters based on the original series has been announced.<\/p>\n

This month’s posters include art based on the following episodes: The Corbomite Maneuver, Friday’s Child, The Cage, <\/em>and Who Mourns for Adonais?<\/em><\/p>\n

For The Corbomite Maneuver<\/em>, Ortiz elected to use a child’s hand, instead of either Balok or his massive ship. “The ship was a big reveal in the episode, so I didn’t want to give it away on the poster,” said Ortiz. “Balok would have been equally revealing, but by just hinting at him, I hope to generate some interest from the new viewer.”<\/p>\n

The Cage<\/em> is Ortiz’s favorite of this batch of posters, because “it’s simple and has a lot going on.” Ortiz went “more contemporary” with this posters, as “this episode wasn’t shown until sometime in the ’80s (not including The Menagerie<\/em>).”<\/p>\n
