A new park to open in Alhama de Murcia, Spain late next year will be of interest to Star Trek<\/em> fans.<\/p>\n

The park, Paramount Park Murcia, will feature several Trek-themed rides.<\/p>\n

\"StarfleetAtAmusementPark\"<\/p>\n

Paramount Park Murcia will not only be an amusement park, but will also include a Lifestyle Center area, with condos, office buildings, leisure gardens, and hotels.<\/p>\n

The “lands” included in the park are: Paseo Paramount, where guests will enter the park through a recreation of the legendary Hollywood Paramount Studios gate, Adventure City, Rango’s West, the Enchanted Forest, and Plaza Futura.<\/p>\n

\"SimulatorAmusementPark\"<\/p>\n

Plaza Futura will be where Trek fans will find the Star Trek<\/em> attractions, including Starfleet Spain recruiting center, a “3D simulator ride that will be set in a recruitment center in which guests will live adventures in outer space, and the Warp Speed Coaster, a high-speed roller coaster with loops and an underground section.<\/p>\n

Paramount Park Murcia is scheduled to open in late 2015.<\/p>\n
