Two new IDW Publishing Star Trek<\/em> comics will arrive in stores this June.<\/p>\n The comics include Star Trek #34<\/em>, and Star Trek: Harlan Ellison\u2019s City on the Edge of Forever #1<\/em>.<\/p>\n In Star Trek #34<\/em>, “the ‘Lost Apollo’ saga, set in the new movie era, ends with this installment. Spock and Bones must work together to save Captain Kirk from a fate worse than death — a fate tied to the earliest days of humanity’s journey to the stars — when they wind up stranded on an alien world and cut off from the Enterprise.”<\/p>\n Written by Mike Johnson<\/strong>, and overseen by Roberto Orci<\/strong>, Star Trek #34<\/em> features art and a cover by Joe Corroney<\/strong>. There is also a variant cover by Craig Rousseau<\/strong> for IDW<\/em> subscribers that features the main characters as Angry Birds<\/em>.<\/p>\n Star Trek #34<\/em> is thirty-two pages in length, and will sell for $3.99.<\/p>\n Star Trek: Harlan Ellison\u2019s City on the Edge of Forever #1<\/em> is written by Harlan Ellison, Scott Tipton<\/strong>, and David Tipton<\/strong>, with art by J.K. Woodward<\/strong>, and a cover by Juan Ortiz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The issue is a “visual presentation of the much-discussed, unrevised, unadulterated version of Harlan Ellison\u2019s Star Trek<\/em> teleplay script, The City on the Edge of Forever<\/em>.” In City on the Edge of Forever #1,<\/em> “fans will finally be able to see the story as Ellison originally intended.”<\/p>\n Thirty-two pages in length, Star Trek: Harlan Ellison\u2019s City on the Edge of Forever #1<\/em> will cost $3.99.
