Later this spring, Leonard Nimoy<\/strong> will appear with the Boston Pops<\/em> in a space-themed concert.<\/p>\n Nimoy will be the host for two performances of Out of this World with Leonard Nimoy<\/em>.<\/p>\n Out of this World with Leonard Nimoy<\/em>, led by guest conductor Sarah Hicks<\/strong>, “features music inspired by outer space, with onstage commentary from the celebrated actor. Highlights include Holst’s The Planets<\/em> (performed alongside a NASA<\/em> film), the theme from Star Trek<\/em>, the Also Sprach Zarathustra<\/em> theme popularized in the film 2001: A Space Odyssey<\/em>, and Boston Pops<\/em> Laureate Conductor John Williams<\/strong>‘ intergalactic music from Star Wars, E.T.<\/em>, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind<\/em>.”<\/p>\n The performances will be held May 23-24 at 8 PM each night at Symphony Hall in Boston.
