Two IDW Publishing Star Trek<\/em> comics will debut tomorrow, but fans may have a sneak peek today.<\/p>\n

The comics include Star Trek: Gold Key Archives, Vol. 1, <\/em>and Star Trek: The Star Date Collection: Volume 2: Under the Command of Christopher Pike<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In Star Trek: Gold Key Archives, Vol. 1<\/em>, written by Arnold Drake <\/strong>and George Kasdan<\/strong>, with art by Evio Zaccara, Alberto Giolitti, <\/strong>and Giovanna Ticci<\/strong>, and a cover by Michael Stribling<\/strong>, the “the first comic book adventures of the U.S.S. Enterprise and her crew are presented in one volume.” The comic is “fully re-mastered…with a new throwback cover,” and covers issues one through six.<\/p>\n

The one-hundred-and-sixty-eight-page comic will sell for $29.99.<\/p>\n

Star Trek: The Star Date Collection: Volume 2: Under the Command of Christopher Pike<\/em> “collect[s] the many comic-book iterations of Trek ‘as they happened’… by stardate!” Under the Command of Christopher Pike<\/em> “completes the early voyages of the Enterprise under the command of Captain Christopher Pike, and wraps up with two lost adventures from Pike’s career.”<\/p>\n

“Helmed by Trek experts Scott <\/strong>and David Tipton<\/strong>, and featuring special commentary, creator interviews, and more, Star Trek: The Star Date Collection: Volume 2: Under the Command of Christopher Pike<\/em> was written by Christopher E. Long, Kevin Colden, Ben Wagner,<\/strong> and Palle Schmidt<\/strong>, and features art by Andy Kuhn, Kevin Colden, Nathan St. John, <\/strong>and Palle Schmidt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The three-hundred-page issue will sell for $49.99.<\/p>\n
