When it comes to filmmaking, Alex Kurtzman <\/strong>and Roberto Orci<\/strong> are going their separate ways.<\/p>\n The duo has worked together on films for almost a decade, including films such as Star Trek into Darkness, Mission Impossible III, People Like Us<\/em> and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.<\/em><\/p>\n The split is amicable, according to sources, and while pursuing solo careers as directors, the two will continue to team up on television projects. Their production company will probably “be reconfigured to accommodate their separation” when it comes to movie-making.<\/p>\n Orci is said to be angling to direct Star Trek 3<\/em>. He is one of the co-writers (along with Patrick McKay <\/strong>and John D.
